Senior AI/ML Developer

Role Overview

looking for an experienced AI/ML Developer to join our development team . In this role you will be at the heart of developing our AI-driven home management platform. We are looking for a highly skilled, self-driven, and initiative-taking professional with interests and experience in Large Language Models and Speech Processing (ASR, TTS). You will have the opportunity to work and experiment with the latest AI models and algorithms, research new innovative approaches in AI, fine-tune models and build Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.

Responsibilities

• Build our AI-driven home management platform by participating in the entire development process, from initial concept creation to full-fledged implementation

• Proactively assist in assessing promising AI technologies

• Design and develop Generative AI solutions, fine-tuning and training latest LLM models

• Perform Prompt Engineering craft and refine user inputs to effectively guide AI responses, ensuring accurate and contextually relevant outcomes

• Engage with Data Engineering collaborate with data engineers to design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for Digital Twin operational and training data

• Use Python to integrate various AI services and APIs

• Produce clean, maintainable, scalable, and efficient code

• Leverage AI in the solution' score (for analyzing user input, IoT sensor data, environmental information and behavioural pattern recognition) and its verticals:

  • Robotics for personalized conversation and interactions with household members based on their preferences and previous history
  • VR for creating more dynamic and interactive VR experiences
  • Health Tech for augmenting the Smart Home with human centric data and for enhancing decision making
    ‍
• Utilize latest AI technologies in the Cloud (e.g. OpenAI, Azure, Claude) and running on-premises models on Edge Computing hardware (e.g. NVIDIA Jetson)

• Conduct research and experimentation to improve the performance of AI systems

• Build, tune, deploy and monitor (MLOps) robust Machine Learning solutions

• Develop with a Defensive Design Strategy in mind for safeguarding against abuse, misuse, and prompt injection, ensuring reliable, secure solutions

• Stay up to date with the latest research and emerging technologies in Generative AI and related fields and identify opportunities to incorporate relevant advancements into the software architecture

• Provide technical support to the Product Managers for defining and clarifying business

Qualifications and Skills

For being successful in this role, we believe a mix of technical and soft skills is required. In the list below you can see what we think are the characteristics of the ideal candidate:

• ‍Development experience: 5 or more years of experience in software development with participation in one or more production-level projects, preferably with demanding requirements for robust, scalable, and efficient system operation.

• ‍Python programming expertise: 3 or more years of experience in Python, preferably in complex application development.‍

• Strong OOP experience: In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and their practical application in Python for creating clean, modular, and maintainable code.
  ‍‍
• AI/ML expertise: Experience in AI/ML, through academic or commercial projects. Practical skills with some of the popular frameworks in ML like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain. Experience related to Smart Home technologies and automation is a plus.

• LLM knowledge: Strong understanding of AI language models, particularly GPT-4 or similar technologies. Hands-on experience in training or fine-tuning large language models or diffusion models.‍

• Linux/Unix skills: Experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting and command-line utilization, and basic system administration.‍
  ‍
• DevOps skills: Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration tools. Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.

• Smart Home & IoT technologies: Keen interest in Smart Home and IoT technologies, with a desire to create innovative smart living solutions. Experience in these areas is a big advantage.
