Overview
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own several core shopping experiences such as item cards and item details, improve the experience for customers to grow all categories but with a special focus on non-fresh food items such as household essentials, personal care, etc. These product features such as the item card is the primary feature by which millions of customers view products and add them to their carts, and as such could not be more fundamental to the user journey. In addition, we’re looking for someone who not only understands the user experience of eCommerce, but also understands how CPG brands market their products, how they think of being successful on marketplaces and how we can support them in being successful.
About the Team - The Category Excellence team is committed to making the shopping experience on Instacart be world class, easy to use and highly relevant for what they are looking to buy. Whether users are browsing for items, or searching for them it all comes together in surfaces that the team owns and the intelligent ranking and personalization decisions that are developed by the team.

About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Product Management experience on a consumer product
- Experience leading product growth roadmaps
- Able to handle the prioritization and execution of a large number of initiatives simultaneously
- Familiar with A/B testing, including experiment design and analysis
- Strong communicator, summarizing project status and outcomes to a large audience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Product management experience in eCommerce field in designing, implementing and improving user facing experiences
- Experience in working with CPG brands either as an employee, or a retailer/marketplace, or in an advertising role
