Insight is searching for bachelor’s students who are passionate about technology and interested in joining our Fall 2024 Co-op program. This is an excellent opportunity to explore various career fields in technology at a successful Fortune 500 company. Through alternating semesters of full-time study and full-time work experience (or dual work and study depending on needs) candidates will receive a well-rounded experience providing relevant and challenging projects and assignments and exposure to the various roles within the organization.
We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Fall Co-Op Program as a remote teammate.
What you’ll experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst Co-Op participant:

Our Co-Op Program brings 15 weeks of paid support, training, and guidance and begins August2024.
What our Cybersecurity Analyst Co-Ops do:
- Work with different team members to learn about the roles and responsibilities within a Managed Security Services (MSS) organization.
- Participate in day-to-day operational tasks to gain an understanding of the duties of each role and the team’s mission to guide their future career decisions.
- Participate in the daily cybersecurity threat monitoring of Insight Managed Security Services clients.
- Gather intelligence from clients and open sources to build threat profiles for each client.
- Perform threat analysis on events reported by security technologies supported by MSS.
- Perform threat hunting within events and raw logs stored within technologies supported by MSS.
- Identify indicators of compromise within threat events.
- Document, review, edit, and present cybersecurity incident reports for audiences with broad degrees of cybersecurity and technical acumen.
- Document problems and resolution for future reference.
What we look for in a Cybersecurity Analyst Co-Op:
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science, or a relatable major.
- Knowledge of computer security, anti-virus, and vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of networks and Linux or windows operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages and VMWare.
- A passion for technology.
- A hunger and propensity to learn.
- A desire to solve complex problems for our customers.
- Technical aptitude to dig in and build solutions.
- A passion for driving business outcomes and creating value for customers.
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.

This role is paid on an hourly basis and ranges from $20.00-$25.00 per hour.
What is the Insight Co-Op Program?
The Insight Co-op program is geared toward hiring, developing, and mentoring collegiate candidates to apply skills which align to their major and/or professional goals including roles in Cyber Security Analyst, Technical Solution Associate, Technical Support Engineer, Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, Associate Services Delivery, Technical Writer and more! Participants will be immersed in a variety of relevant and valuable work experiences for application of effective communication, problem-solving strategies and networking supporting the Infrastructure & Operations, Cloud & Security Management, End User & Application Management, and IT Outsourcing lines of business. Roles & responsibilities will vary depending on the project assignment and will become more challenging with each participating semester. Participants will also be assigned curriculum that instills Insight’s core values of hunger, heart and harmony. From daily tasks to company-wide policies, we refer to these values to remind ourselves of who we are and who we want to be.
