Security Consultant Microsoft

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will help our clients strengthen their security posture by implementing, configuring, and optimizing the Microsoft Security XDR stack and Microsoft Sentinel. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving threat detection, response, and overall resilience.

Your responsibilities

As a Microsoft Security Consultant, you will:

• Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender XDR solutions (Endpoint, Identity, Email, Cloud Apps).
• Deploy and fine-tune Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring, incident detection, and automated response.
• Develop and optimize detection rules, playbooks, and dashboards in Sentinel.
• Perform threat analyses, security assessments, and support incident investigations.
• Advise clients on best practices in Microsoft Security, focusing on proactive defense and efficient SOC operations.
• Deliver clear technical documentation and provide training sessions for end users and administrators.

• At least 2 years of experience in security consulting or SOC-related roles.
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, SC-300, or equivalent) are a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• A proactive mindset, eager to improve processes and contribute to innovative security approaches.
