Data Analyst – Python-High, JSON APIs, SOAP services, and SFTP data feeds
Data Analyst with strong Python expertise and hands-on experience working with structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources, including APIs and file-based feeds. The role involves data extraction, transformation, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data analysis workflows using Python
- Extract and process data from JSON-based REST APIs, SOAP services, and SFTP data feeds
- Clean, validate, and transform data to support reporting and analytics use cases
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements
- Troubleshoot data issues related to API integrations and file transfers
- Document data flows, logic, and assumptions clearly
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with JSON APIs and RESTful services
- Working knowledge of SOAP services
- Experience handling SFTP-based data feeds
- Understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with SQL and databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Familiarity with scheduling and automation tools (Airflow, Cron, etc.)
