We're a rapidly growing SaaS scale-up building a next-generation data and analytics platform powered by machine learning and AI. Our mission is to make complex data accessible, actionable, and intelligent for businesses of all sizes. Now, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon WebServices to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, architect, and product to support CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and drive operational excellence.
🔧 As A Senior DevOps Engineer at Ikue you will be:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Lead the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Manage container orchestration platforms and improve deployment strategies.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
- Ensure systems are secure and compliant with best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support development, testing, debugging, and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
- Management of AWS costing- reporting and monitoring.
- Monitoring and optimization DB
🛠️ Our Tech Stack:
- Agile, test-driven development Microservices architecture for config-based distributed data processing
- Orchestration using AWS API Gateway, Event Bridge, SQS, Lambda and Step Functions
- Java 17+, Spring (Boot/Batch), Docker, ECS for core services,Python for analytical services
- Docker, ECS, SageMaker for analytical services
- GitHub (CI/CD), Terraform and Cloud Formation (IAC)
👀 What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, with at least 3 years focused on AWS environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS core services (ECS, Step functions, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python).
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Proficient in containerization and orchestration (ECS).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems- Git.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
