DUTIES:
Identifies requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients and with other persons in a position to understand service requirements
Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems
Bug fixing, browser testing, accessibility testing
Documenting code and processes
Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers on client work
Communicating with co-workers about your projects and tasks
Actively participate in project discussions and team meetings (e.g., daily standups, code reviews)
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or related field and demonstrated knowledge* of building full stack applications using JavaScript technologies and React Development OR Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or related field and 5 years of experience building full stack applications using JavaScript technologies and 5 years of experience with React development. Qualified candidate must possess demonstrated knowledge* of each of the following:
Node.js
GraphQL and/or Rest
Cloud architecture (AWS or similar)
Git and GitHub
HTML 5, CSS 3.0, JavaScript, REST Concepts, JWT
cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS)
MySQL
*Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience will be accepted.
TELEWORK: 100% remote; position may be performed remotely within commuting distance of the office.
There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $107,500 - $166,088/year.
