ICF’s Health, People, and Human Services Group (HPHS) is seeking aFull Stack Developertosupport ourHPHS Group Technologyteamin the design anddelivery ofimpactful applicationsandnext-generation AI-powered solutions forboth internalproject teams andexternalclients.

This positionwillprovidean opportunity towork with modern web technologiesandcontribute to pioneering Generative AI projectsfrom proof-of-conceptthroughproduction grade applications.This is a highly collaborative role whereyou'llwork shoulder-to-shoulder with designers,otherdevelopers, and domain experts in a fast-paced,rapidly changingenvironment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end featuresthat directlyimpactour clients and subject matter experts, from database design to polished user interfaces

• Supportproduct initiativesfrom conception through launch, working closely with our product team tovalidateideas through experimentation and user feedback

• Collaborate with designersto create intuitive, delightful user experiences and provide technical input on UI/UX decisions

• Usedata to inform product decisionsthrough A/B testing, analytics, and user research insights

• Communicate progress and insightsto stakeholders, translating complex technical work into business impact

Minimum Skills and Required Experience

• Bachelor'sdegree(orequivalent)with5+yearsorMaster’sand2+yearsofprofessional experience in full stack software development building production-grade applications

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern front-end framework (e.g.React, Angular, or Vue)

• Experience with at least one back-end language or framework (e.g.Node.js, Python, Java,Django,Flask)

• Experience with database design, including bothSQL relationaldatabasesandNoSQLtechnologies

• Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications.

• 1+ years of experience integrating LLMs into production systems with a focus onprompt-engineering, error analysis, security, and reliability

• 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms,infrastructureas code,CI/CD, and modern development workflows

Preferred Skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Familiarity with AI/ML products, architectural concepts, and responsible AI use

• Exposure to agentic system frameworks (such asCrewAI, Azure SDK,AgentKit)or AI workflow orchestration and automation tools

• Experience with AI evaluation and testing frameworks (e.g.,Promptfoo,LangSmith, or similar)

• Experience with specification-driven software development, especially workflows supported with coding assistants (e.g.,GithubSpecKit)

• Ability to work productively and form relationships at all levels from senior leadership to entry level.

• Strong collaboration skills with designers, product owners, and other engineers

• Enjoy wearing multiple hats and tackling diverse technical challenges

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate between non-technical and technical stakeholders.

• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for a business audience.
