iCapital powers the world's alternative investment marketplace, offering a complete suite of tools, end-to-end enterprise solutions, data management and distribution capabilities, and an innovative operating system. Our customers, including financial advisors, wealth managers, and asset managers, face the challenge of navigating the complex world of alternative investments. Historically, these types of investments, such as private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and real estate, were primarily accessible to a small number of institutional investors due to their intricate nature and stringent regulations. High-net-worth investors were often leaving potential returns on the table, not by choice, but due to these barriers. We recognized that much of today's economic growth occurs outside public markets, and we aimed to democratize access to these opportunities.

Our financial technology platform was built to transform how alternative investments are bought, sold, and managed. We provide tech-based solutions that simplify the entire investment lifecycle, from education and due diligence to transactions, data flows, analytics, and client support. For wealth advisors and their high-net-worth clients, our flagship platform offers a curated menu of alternative investments at lower minimums, coupled with comprehensive administrative support and reporting in a secure digital environment. This enables them to incorporate alternative assets into their core portfolio strategies with confidence. Asset managers and banks leverage our technology to streamline and scale their private investment operational infrastructure, allowing them to reach new sources of capital from the independent wealth channel. We are focused on creating a friction-free marketplace, and our technology-driven solutions and culture of shared accountability have been pivotal in realizing this vision. With iCapital's solutions, customers gain the assurance to navigate and engage seamlessly in the world of alternative investments, ensuring a reliable and efficient investment experience aligned with their financial goals.
