The Proposal Manager is a member of a dynamic team that consistently delivers high-quality and winning proposals that deliver process-improving solutions.
Requirements
- Manage and coordinate daily pursuit tasks ensuring all proposal content is completed on-time and of excellent quality.
- Coordinate proposal process, following standard procedures, including planning, review, and production of proposals.
- Facilitate client communication following the rules set forth within the bid, such as submitting questions within the allotted timeframe.
- Gather and research information to include in proposals, including company, customer, product, process, and personnel information.
- Create RFP project timeline/Project Schedule determining time frame, procedures for accomplishing proposal, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of proposal development.
- Identify, address, and resolve issues in a timely fashion; escalating when necessary.
- Work with Technical Writer to setup proposal template, add boiler plate content, tailor proposal content to specific requests, and submit/print/assemble/ship proposals.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development, Account Executives, other Sales Team members, Cloud Services representatives, Professional Services personnel, and relevant business partners in the proposal preparation process, efficiently assigning resources to proposal tasks using established scheduling processes.
- Work with RFP Services Manager to engage management to obtain necessary information and commitment for specific pursuits.
- Participate in debriefings/lessons-learned sessions after delivery of a proposal to contribute ideas and recommendations towards proposal process improvements.
- Submit and track Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to obtain solicitation and evaluation documentation, competitive bid proposals and contracts.
