Role Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to join the Homebound team, where you will assume a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our marketing strategy, particularly in launching our inaugural suburban home communities. Working in tandem with cross-functional teams spanning brand, digital marketing, construction, land acquisition, and beyond—both at central and local levels—you will lead the charge in driving our community launch initiatives. Preference for candidates based in Texas or Colorado.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Acquisitions, Sales, Brand, Performance Marketing, and Construction, to ensure alignment and synergy across teams.

  • Utilize expertise and personal network to identify optimal partners, agencies, and channels for creative, and other critical items in community launches.

  • Take charge of developing and executing the community launch plan, serving as the playbook for future launches, including:

    • Updating Brand Assets & Identity messaging

    • Creating an Omni-channel strategy encompassing Out of Home, Digital, Social, Signage, Events, and more

    • Developing a marketing plan in collaboration with the community/developer

    • Planning and activating Model Homes

    • Managing local PR efforts

  • Project manage all aspects of the first community launches, implementing the playbook and refining strategies based on performance metrics.

  • Lead strategy and implementation of website improvements for suburban community launches.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing ops team to enhance critical infrastructure for measuring performance and impact.

  • Develop and oversee the marketing budget to ensure effective resource allocation and ROI optimization.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: You should have significant experience (10-15+ years) in the homebuilding or related real estate industry, particularly in launching local communities. Experience with top homebuilders and exposure to central strategy teams is preferred.

  • Execution Skills: You're a relentless executor who can handle the challenge of building the toolkit while executing tasks effectively. Strong project management skills are essential, along with the ability to coordinate across teams and meet tight deadlines.

  • Drive and Adaptability: You thrive in a hyper-growth startup environment and can navigate ambiguity with ease. Your personal drive and ability to adapt to changing circumstances are crucial for success.

  • Collaboration: As a cross-functional leader, you excel at building alignment and maintaining openness to different opinions. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are exceptional, allowing you to distill complex ideas for easy understanding.

Quality and Impact: You don't just execute tasks; you strive to deeply understand goals, challenge existing thinking, and deliver high-quality work that has a significant impact. You're passionate about brand and customer experience, believing in the potential for homebuilding to create magical experiences with digital tools.

We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you’re excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
