About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor Virtual Assistant to support a growing marketing team by producing high-quality long-form and short-form video content, with a primary focus on long-form edits.

This role involves editing marketing videos, online content, and promotional materials while ensuring strong storytelling, smooth pacing, and professional visual quality. The ideal candidate has solid experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects and is comfortable working with both long-form projects and shorter clips derived from them.

This is a full-time remote role open to candidates based in the Philippines or LATAM, working US business hours.

Core Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit long-form video content for marketing, advertising, and online platforms
• Create short-form clips derived from long-form content when needed
• Assemble raw footage into polished and engaging final videos
• Maintain strong pacing, storytelling flow, and viewer engagement

Motion Graphics & Effects

• Use Adobe After Effects to create animations, transitions, and visual effects
• Add titles, captions, overlays, and branding elements
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound balancing, and visual improvements

Content Delivery & Organization

• Export videos in the correct formats for different platforms
• Maintain organized project files and editing timelines
• Collaborate with the team and implement revisions based on feedback

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Experience editing long-form video content
• Ability to also produce short-form clips
• Strong storytelling and pacing skills
• High attention to detail and visual consistency
• Reliable internet connection and remote work setup
• Ability to work full-time during US business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing marketing or advertising content
• Experience with YouTube or long-form online content
• Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects
• Experience working with remote teams
