Job Summary

The Associate Client Manager (ACM) is responsible for the overall relationship with the client, from implementation, everyday problem resolution through renewal activities. The ACM may work directly with sales executives on small groups that are sold and will have groups that are generally under $50,000.00 ANR. This position may have minimal assistance from a Client Coordinator. They maintain senior management level contact with Benefits, Human Resources, and the financial staff of the client. The Associate Client Manager is also responsible for the service delivery of Luminare Health products and services that ensure client satisfaction.

This role is based remotely, however candidates must live in one the following states: IL, MT, IN, IA, KS, MO, NC, NM, OK, PA, TX or WI

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the ongoing day-to-day involvement with assigned clients, including but not limited to:
  • Problem solving/issue resolution
  • Personal contact with the clients – phone calls, visits, meetings, etc.
  • Creating, analyzing and presenting reporting packages
  • Coordinating and presenting renewals, claim reviews, with appropriate follow-through
  • Presenting relevant industry/corporate/market issues to client as appropriate
  • Completing Client Action Plans
  • Recommending appropriate upsales and approach
  • Directing and overseeing stop loss renewal with Sales Coordinator/Underwriter
  • Assumes primary responsibility for implementation of new business in close collaboration with implementation manager, including but not limited to:
  • Working closely with the sales producers to learn not only what was sold but also nuances and personality of group
  • Ensuring timely completion of SPD
  • Set up and maintenance of performance metrics
  • Coordinating communications with client/Luminare Health departments/vendors regarding new groups, terminations, plan changes, issues, new products, etc.
  • Produces other projects, analyses, reports, etc. as directed by client/director/consultant/senior management
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years client coordinator or client related experience
  • Results oriented and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with senior level executives
  • Thorough understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Min to Max Range:

$56,700.00 - $106,400.00
