Day-to-Day Activities:
  • The scope of your role covers the Solo entity financial accounting and reporting, and potentially, the Group financials for the Digibank.
  • You will be responsible for the monthly financial fast close and reporting to shareholders, liasing with the external auditors and preparing the annual financial statements.
  • You will lead and guide the offshore finance shared services team
  • You will embed financial controls discipline to comply with the accounting and financial controls policies
The Must Haves:
  • Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment, with a desire to excel and develop your skillset in a fast growing bank.
  • Creativity and comfortable with ‘blank sheet of paper’ assignments, a big-picture thinker who is detail-oriented and problem solver
  • You have at least 15 years of working experience either at a Big 4 accounting firm and/or in a banking financial reporting function with team lead experiences
  • Experience in managing and working with offshore support team and working with cross border and functional teams.
  • Superb presentation and communication skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability
  • Able to demonstrate integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
