Seeking experienced climate reporters for the inaugural Forbes Sustainability Leaders list. Reporters will help source candidates for the list, doing broad research into potential nominees and sorting through inbound nominations. They will also help identify judge candidates and write bios for both honoree and judge finalists. There may be additional opportunity to write a story associated with the list. Part-time / 20 hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound reach out to potential listmakers as well as to identified constituent groups to uncover more individual names.
- Sort through inbound nominations
- Help identify judge candidates
- Write bios for both honoree and judge finalists
- Collecting updated photos from listmakers and judges
- Organizing data and fact-checking
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong writing and reporting skills
- Research experience
- Attention to detail in fact-checking
- Comfort contacting sources
- An ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time and to meet consistent deadlines
The hourly rate for this role is $25.00 - $50.00
