Plate Fitter 1st Class

Gulf Copper is seeking an experienced Plate Fitter to join their team. The position requires a high school diploma and/or one year certificate from college or technical school, and 3-5 years of marine/industrial plate/structural fitting experience. The job involves working on ships, both on and offshore, and requires standing and operating equipment for up to four continuous hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or one year certificate from college or technical school
• 3-5 years of marine/industrial plate/structural fitting experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and technical manuals
• Perform basic mathematical functions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
