The Vascular Surgery Coder will review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to extract data and apply appropriate ICD-10 Diagnosis codes, CPT/HCPCS codes, and perform accurate coding for billing, internal and external reporting, research, and regulatory compliance. The coder will work independently, multitask, and interface with clients and staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years Vascular Surgery Coding experience, both IP and OP coding for physician claims.
- CPC certification from AAPC
- EMR experience
- Must maintain credential throughout employment
