Your Opportunity: Lead the content, vision, and growth trajectory of Grifin's social media presence.
Who you are:
- You have 3+ years of experience managing, growing, and creating content for company-specific social media pages on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Bonus if one (or more) of the companies you worked for is in the consumer technology mobile app space.
- Creating content comes naturally to you. You are addicted to crafting and sharing high quality videos on social media on a consistent, day-to-day cadence.
- You have a proven track record of crafting dozens of pieces of viral content.
- You have high energy, are super-motivated, and love learning about what our customers love!
- You are really good at tracking what you do, love to get into the weeds of the data, and can run tests and learn really quickly.
- You believe that having fun taking 100 random videos or photos can create a better picture than just trying to take 1 perfect one.
- You feel personally connected to Grifin’s values and themes of wellness, self-care, investing for your future self, and being an owner in the companies you use and know every day are missions you personally feel connected to.
- You know how to create compelling hooks that draw people in / make them interested, but also love telling a story that keeps viewers retained to the end of your content.
- You understand that tonality, uniqueness, and “smiling with your eyes” matters when it comes to recording yourself as a character in your video content.
- You want the whole world to know about Grifin. You think everyone should have Grifin to ensure they’re putting something away for their future self every time they spend.
- You love talking with customers in social media comments or DMs.
What you’ll do:
- Page Management: Lead the day-to-day management of Grifin’s social media pages, including viral video content production, follower growth, community engagement and management, content roadmapping, and reporting on post/page analytics.
- Viral content creation: Spearhead the ideation, scripting, and recording/creation of video content that’s fun and fresh - that both engages our existing 200k+ total followers and entices new people to follow.
- Growth: Show meaningful growth in your content's views / reach, as well as follower growth across our TikTok (140k), Instagram (65k), Facebook (3k), YouTube, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Goal-setting: To measure the success and impact of your work, you’ll produce organic video content with the ultimate goal of garnering millions of views and increasing our follower count in ways that are aligned with our brand and values.
- Community engagement: Monitor & respond to community comments and DMs to build loyalty and trust, using conversations to foster future creative video production.
- Analytics: Define KPIs and track organic performance across all channels, reporting on engagement, reach, follower growth, and content effectiveness, leveraging data to inform ongoing optimization of hook, content, tone, timing, and format.
- Brainstorming: Stay current on and act upon emerging, popular social trends and general finance industry trends, algorithm updates, and platform innovations.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000 depending on experience, not including annual bonus incentives for extraordinary performance.
