Developer, Custom Copilot Studio Agents (Power Platform)

About the role

Build and extend Copilot Studio agents with advanced functions, secure tool calling, and deep integrations across Power Apps and Power Automate (Flows). You’ll turn business workflows into reliable, scalable copilots that call the right APIs at the right time.
What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and maintain Copilot Studio agents with multi-step tool calling and custom functions (e.g., Azure Functions, Power Fx, custom connectors).
• Integrate agents with Dataverse, Power Apps, and Flows; orchestrate end-to-end processes and error handling.
• Build/consume REST and Graph APIs; manage auth (OAuth2/AAD), secrets, and governance.
• Implement prompt patterns, grounding, and guardrails; add telemetry, testing, and fallback behaviors.
• Ship with ALM best practices (solutions), CI/CD, and environment management.

What you’ll need

• 3–5+ years building production apps/services; strong TypeScript/JavaScript or C#.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and Copilot Studio/custom connectors.
• Experience with Azure Functions/Logic Apps, API design, and monitoring (App Insights).
• Nice to have: Power Fx, Azure OpenAI, vector/search, RAG, role-based access controls.
