Senior Technical Program Manager

Location Details:EMEA, Remote - Serbia or Romania

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Partners Engineering Technical Program Management team and to provide technical leadership, coordination, and strategic oversight to ensure that projects are completed successfully, align with business goals and customer outcomes and deliver high-quality results. What you'll get to do...

• Identify and address systemic organisational challenges, establish positive relationships, and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to define needs and support strategic planning and execution, including metrics, program requirements, and scope
• Lead technical discussions as a cross-functional partner, providing thought leadership during product reviews, and crafting and implementing process and strategy frameworks that facilitate goal-setting and decision-making
• Articulate the team's technology vision, technical requirements, goals, and achievements to partners, encouraging teamwork across teams and functions
• Integrate technical knowledge, subject matter expertise, and trends to make informed decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis
• Provide hands-on program management throughout the project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
• Work with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer-focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies
• Ensure flawless integration of non-functional requirements, such as observability, capacity planning, availability, and performance, into feature/product development to achieve efficient system performance and user happiness

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of work experience in a technical product/program management role or a computer-related occupation
• 3+ years of experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery
• Good knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
• Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
• Ability to establish work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
• Ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and then deliver them in a timely manner
• Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply
• Good English skills – both verbal and written

You might also have...

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics or Business Administration (MBA
• Product management experience would be considered a plus
• Software Development knowledge or experience
