We are hiring a Principal Product Designer located in England in or near London. The role is fully remote.

About the role

We have recently launched Midy, this is a Gen product created to help you verify your identity online more simply and safely.

The Midy team’s goal is to help people verify who they are and who they are dealing with online more simply and safely, enabling them to prioritize authentic digital relationships. Our team focuses on creating the experiences that bring back the trust to digital interactions while empowering individuals to control their privacy by managing when and with whom they share their data.

As a Senior Product Designer, your primary responsibility is to conceptualize and design consumer-focused experiences that resonate with the businesses we cater to. Your focus will be on crafting simple, user-friendly experiences, influencing the workflow across various industries including e-commerce,finance, insurance, cybersecurity, recruitment and workplace, healthcare with a customer-first approach.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users

• Design flows and experiences that simplify and distil down complex actions into usable interfaces

• Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define our design system

• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of our products

• Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality

• Willingness to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.

• Partner closely with product & engineering peers to ensure we are building a product that our customers need and love.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:

• Experience building and shipping multiple features that are broad/ambiguous in scope and encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms.

• Interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this product will scale.

• Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.

• Strategic product thinking with experience in developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• A comprehensive portfolio that effectively demonstrates your design process, highlighting your previous design work on complex end-to-end projects.

• Previous experience with identity-based products a plus
