As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities for medium to large software development projects and tasks of moderate to advanced complexity. This role is strictly involved in testing the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data.
Requirements
- Writes and reviews test conditions and scripts.
- Ability to read logical and physical database model diagram.
- Understands RDBMS concepts, writes SQL to update and manage relevant table data.
- Deploys incremental software builds to test environments, performs smoke test of the builds.
- Performs functional, regression test and assist the Quality Assurance supervisor and the development staff to troubleshoot and pinpoint source of problem found in testing.
- Document release notes and deployment instructions for the stakeholders.
- Establishes and documents a tailored Quality Test Plan in collaboration with the Project Manager, for the performance of quality assurance activities for assigned project or task.
- Assists the Project Manager in developing estimates and schedule for quality assurance tasks for new projects and enhancements.
- Provides status to the Project Manager on assigned quality assurance and testing activities and task
- Develops and oversees the quality assurance documentation for projects and tasks to include quality metrics.
- Ensures documentation complies with QA policies, procedures and best practices.
- Provides project team with input and feedback regarding revisions
- Evaluates work products to assess quality and reports findings.
- Researches alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches, makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate parties and assists with implementation of solutions
