Online Lecturer - Psychology

Part of FutureLearn, Interactive Pro are a global Online Programme Management (OPM) provider working with Universities to develop, launch and run online degrees and short courses. We are growing and expanding our team of global faculty quickly and are currently looking for academic staff to join our team as contracted Online Psychology Lecturers or Senior Lecturers.

We are currently seeking lecturers for a UK BPS accredited postgraduate conversion course however we may expand into other programmes in the future.

What is the opportunity?

As part of this role, you will be required to undertake online teaching and assessment, personal tutoring as well as online research project (dissertation) supervision. There may be some online content creation and development work in the future.

Essential

• A PhD within a relevant subject area
• Experience of teaching and learning within post-graduate Higher Education
• Eligibility for Fellowship of the HEA
• Excellent team working and communication skills
• Experience teaching on BPS accredited programme
• Experience of teaching social and/or developmental psychology
• Experience of teaching and supervising qualitative research methods

Desirable

• Experience of and passion for online teaching and learning
• Experience of dissertation / research project supervision
• Experience of teaching and learning within post-graduate UK Higher Education
• Membership or eligibility for membership of the BPS
• Experience of the role of personal tutor
