About Fulcrum: We’re a team of tech-savvy, creative & passionate IT professionals. There are literally no limits to what you can do here, as long as we WOW our clients and OVER deliver what we promise.

About the role

We’re an AI-first company. Not in slides — in how we actually build.
If you’re tired of just “managing projects” and want to be where product development is really changing because of AI — keep reading.

No, we don’t have perfect processes.

Yes, things move fast, change often, and won’t always be crystal clear.

But you’ll get something most roles don’t give:
real ownership, real decisions, and hands-on experience with AI products — not theory.

We don’t care about a perfect CV.
We care about how you think and how you operate:
can you figure things out, handle ambiguity, mitigate risks, and still deliver?

If that sounds like your kind of environment — let’s talk.

Possible project types

- Design projects: UX/UI design, branding, marketing materials.
- Development projects: websites, web platforms, mobile apps, integrations.

What Your Day Looks Like

As a Business Analyst

You start by syncing with stakeholders and the team — stand-ups, Jira, Slack. You spend mid-morning in discovery: stakeholder interviews, workshops, and digging into root problems. Your output is structured and clear.

  • Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria

  • Create process diagrams (BPMN, flows, wireframe annotations)

  • Produce PRDs, BRDs, and other requirement docs

  • Act as the 'source of truth' for requirements

  • Collaborate with UX on edge cases and flows

  • Support QA with expected behaviors and test prep

  • Constantly ask: 'What problem are we actually solving?'

As a Project manager

You scan dashboards, track deadlines and risks, and run stand-ups to surface blockers early. You keep the team moving by unblocking dependencies and aligning stakeholders on progress.

  • Own and maintain sprint plans, roadmaps, and timelines

  • Identify risks early and escalate when needed

  • Manage scope, budget, and delivery expectations

  • Balance resources — who is overloaded, who is free

  • Provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership

  • Review deliverables and push for fixes before they grow

  • Think 2–3 steps ahead to keep the team unblocked

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product backlog: creation, grooming, prioritization, and refinement

  • Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research

  • Write structured deliverables: user stories, acceptance criteria, PRDs, process diagrams Plan and manage sprints, timelines, and delivery milestones

  • Track project health: risks, blockers, scope changes, and resource allocation

  • Communicate project status and expectations to stakeholders and leadership

  • Collaborate daily with designers, developers, and QA to clarify and validate requirements

  • Review built functionality against requirements and adjust documentation accordingly

  • Continuously bridge business goals and product/engineering decisions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a BA, PM, or Product Owner in outsource companies

  • Experience working on 2+ projects simultaneously

  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation and documentation

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

  • Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Experience creating process diagrams (BPMN, UML, flowcharts)

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders

  • Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in a dual BA/PM role

  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and tools (Figma, Miro)

  • Experience in product-led or consulting company

  • Exposure to technical architecture discussions

We are a Development Studio that works with startups that are looking for ideation, design & product development. Focusing mostly on building marketplaces, we ask ourselves before taking on any project: Will it help others? Do we really believe in it? Our goal here is to have all the people on Earth using the apps we've built.

At Fulcrum we always find a way, also, we are courageously honest and we most certainly give a damn.

A long time ago (2018 to be precise), before the global pandemic, the war in our country, and the unnecessary prequel to Lord of the Rings, there was a team of young entrepreneurs from Kyiv that was about to create a development company from scratch. It’s impossible to operate a business without a website in the XXI century, so first thing first, choose a domain name.

We’d love to tell you how meticulous and thorough this process was, but it wouldn’t be true. A cool domain for 15 bucks was found by our CEO Ihor, that domain was develop.fulrum.rocks. In essence, it represented our desire to work and rock’n’roll.

As time passed, things changed and gained new meanings. We stumbled upon an English translation of a famous Archimedes quote:

“Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.” —Archimedes 287 BC – 212 BC

It’s the guy who shouted “Eureka!” every time he had a bright idea, and he had quite a lot of those. It’s sort of a must to become one of the leading scientists of classical antiquity. The word “fulcrum” started to grow on us in the light of this expanded meaning.

The notion of making a difference in the world inspired us and made us feel like what we do matters. Fulcrum has now taken on the mission to “Turn ideas that inspire into products that help”
