Senior Android Engineer

AHOY is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic team in creating high-quality, user-centric mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative Android applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into functional applications.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries.
• Solid understanding of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
