Node.js Backend

Position Overview
AHOY is looking for a talented Node.js Backend Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining backend applications that serve as the backbone for our innovative projects. You will work closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure code quality through testing and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications and identify any bottlenecks.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong communication skills, especially in a remote work setting.
