Engineering and Data Management teams build and deploy software products for a wide range of financial market clients with a primary focus on the fund data value chain.
Engineering and Data Management is at the centre of FE FundInfo and how it delivers investment fund data and advice to global clients. The infrastructure team is the foundation for technical and service delivery, ensuring services for both internal and external customers, ensuring fast, efficient and reliable services.
Your key responsibilities as a Senior .Net Developer will include to:
- Be responsible for designing, developing web based applications and integrating with related backend systems.
- Implement object-oriented principles and design patterns.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure a high standard of work through clean coding habits and code reviews.
- Assess technical debt and provide solutions and / or tools on how to address.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the product from a technical perspective and be responsible to manage & support the services to the client.
To join us as a Senior .Net Developer, you will need the following skills and experience:
- You must have 8+ years of full stack development experience with major server-side stacks (C#, .Net)
- You must have extensive experience in designing and developing applications using C#, ASP.Net
- You must have solid experience with JavaScript, Jquery, SQL and Azure
- You must have experience in developing applications on Service Oriented Architecture
- You must have experience with object oriented programming, Web API/RESTful API
- You must be able to demonstrate the ability to write clean, structured, maintainable code and have a natural curiosity to learn new technology
