Faria Education Group is looking for a full-time Standards & Service Specialist to help maintain and expand our academic standards database and support our customer service projects. Your role will be to support the Services Team with standards updates and changes, communicating with clients, aiding in services projects, and project managing large scale data integration projects. As your experience in the role increases, so will your project management responsibilities.

What you’ll do…

  • Research, upload, and maintain academic subject standards in the Faria Standards Database.
  • Manage and participate in client services projects including data integrations and SaaS customizations within Faria Education products.
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Support, Deployment, Implementation, and Sales) to improve the entire customer experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve unique client situations through tailored and creative solutions.
  • Work closely in a team environment to achieve individual, team, and company goals.
  • Manage and re-prioritize deadlines to accommodate client needs and expectations.
  • Keep current on industry changes to academic standards and education
  • Work across teams to contribute to the overall mission of Faria Education Group to drive innovation of our products, and further our relationships with our client schools.

Requirements

Education / Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; or four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Educational settings is preferred but not required. As Faria sits at the confluence of education and SaaS, experience within either of these industries is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency and/or willingness to learn common business and communication technologies (i.e. SalesForce, Zoom, Skype, Slack, Microsoft Access, etc.)
  • Preferred experience with Regular Expression, SQL, and HTML
  • Preferred Advanced Excel skills
