Staff Product Designer - Europe (f/m/d)

YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an experienced Staff Product Designer to work on the design of our digital advertising SAAS product suite to be used by ourselves, distributors, resellers and clients. You'll be leading the creation of a new design language and framework for all applications and their components as well as providing mockups and illustrated graphics to guide and enhance the user experience. For this you'll frequently interact with Product Managers, Engineers, Stakeholders and other sources of feedback and ideas to continueosly enhance and expand the capabilities of our products. You'll also be mentoring other Product Designers at Factor Eleven, reviewing their work and work closely with Engineering and Product Leadership.

You'll guide and work with our product designers, and collaborate with engineering and product leadership and their cross-disciplinary teams. You're reporting to the CTO.

A successful Staff Product Designer at Factor Eleven will lead the charge towards a brand new design for our product suite, provide well-defined product specifications, design fully-functional products and workflows and mentor as well as review the work of other Designers and ongoing visual changes made to our products. This role is perfect for you if you have experience as a Team Lead and you have a natural ability to convert requierments into practical products. Ultimately, you and your mentees will help us build products that are easy to use and visually appealing to our potential customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting market research to determine gaps in the market
• Identifying functionality gaps and translating these into feasible ideas and designs that will satisfy consumers
• Investigating user experience design requirements for our digital advertising platform
• Leading the development and conceptualization of a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand
• Providing mentorship and supervision to other Product Designers
• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
• Collaborating with Product Managers on feature design as part of the UX/UI design component
• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
  Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
  Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user
• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior
• Producing prototypes, click-dummies and sketches to test functionality and engage audiences
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design
• Researching tools, materials and relevant design techniques

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in UX design, communication design, product design or related field
• 10+ years of UI/UX design experience for digital products or services. Professional portfolio of UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Some experience leading teams and mentoring other Product Designers
• Experience with designing whiteboard products/ad tech products
• Experience working with SAAS products
• Excellent knowledge of common UX/UI design technologies and software
• Extensive familiarity with HTML5, CSS and other web frontend technologies
• Fluent in English
• Great team player, but also a reliable independent contributor
• Creative eye, good imagination, and vision
• Firm grasp of market trends and consumer preferences
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• Problem-solving, goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in French (a plus)
