Job Description

Fabletics Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer.

How Do You Fit In?

We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of our session data models and reporting layer—a critical part of how we understand product engagement and user behavior. This role combines hands-on SQL modeling, data storytelling, and tight cross-functional collaboration across Product, Growth, and Executive teams.

This is a hybrid role that blends hands-on SQL modeling in Snowflake, data pipeline orchestration with Airflow, and dashboard development in Tableau. You’ll collaborate across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science to define metrics, design impactful dashboards, and deliver clean, trusted insights that drive strategy across the business.

You’ll join a technically strong and collaborative team that values precision, ownership, and storytelling through data.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and evolve our session data layer in Snowflake by developing robust, SQL-based data models that translate complex event data into clean, actionable datasets.

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade Tableau dashboards that power key decisions across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to define metrics, align on data logic, and drive clarity through well-structured reporting.

  • Contribute to our data production ecosystem, including maintaining and monitoring Airflow DAGs, and participate in a rotational support schedule to resolve data issues and ensure uptime.

  • Champion best practices in data modeling, version control (GitHub), documentation, and stakeholder communication—ensuring scalability and trust in our reporting stack.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years in BI, Analytics, or hybrid technical roles focused on data modeling and reporting.

  • Advanced SQL skills and deep experience working in a cloud data warehouse environment (e.g., Snowflake).

  • Proven expertise in Tableau, with the ability to create dynamic, scalable dashboards and support self-service reporting.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you’re comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical partners to understand needs and deliver solutions.

  • A sense of ownership and accountability, with a drive to proactively identify and solve data challenges.

  • Comfort working in a modern data stack: Airflow, Snowflake, GitHub, and Tableau.

Nice to have, but we’ll teach you:

  • Prior work with session data, clickstream analysis, or user journey modeling.

  • Familiarity with concepts like funnel conversion, engagement metrics, and user segmentation.

  • Exposure to Python for automation, data validation, or tooling.

  • Interest or experience in AI-assisted analytics (e.g., integrating LLMs for query generation, dashboard summaries, or documentation)
