Overview
The Partner Business Manager is a key player in our Sales Organization, driving growth and success through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, a track record in indirect sales, partner management, and a knack for spotting mutually beneficial opportunities. Responsible for building a strong partner ecosystem, the role critically aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development
- Develop and execute strategic partnership plans with key technology partners, aligning with the company's long-term goals.
- Identify and qualify new partners with complementary offerings and a commitment to customer success.
- Conduct due diligence on potential partners' technical capabilities, market presence, and customer base.
- Negotiate partnership agreements outlining mutual expectations, rights, and obligations.
- Collaborate with partners to drive pipeline growth and indirect revenue.
Partner Management and Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with partners through regular communication and transparent information sharing.
- Collaborate with partners on marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and product integrations.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to partners for mutual success.
- Monitor partner performance, track key metrics, and provide feedback for improvement.
Ecosystem Expansion and Integration
- Identify emerging technologies and partners to enhance product offerings and market reach.
- Facilitate integration between the company's platform and partner solutions.
- Manage partner onboarding processes for seamless integration.
Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Establish and monitor KPIs for partner relationships, including revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
- Report on partner performance to senior management, with insights for optimizing partnerships.
- Conduct periodic reviews to assess partnership effectiveness and make adjustments.
- Meet quarterly performance goals for pipeline generation, revenue, and Go-To-Market activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in partner management, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS business model, partner ecosystems, and the competitive landscape.
- Proven track record of success in developing and managing strategic partnerships that deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
