We are looking for a Technical Program Associate (TPA) who is passionate about driving execution, learning complex systems, and supporting cross-functional delivery across engineering, product, and data teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their Technical Program Management journey who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring that projects move forward efficiently.

You will work closely with senior TPMs, engineers, and product managers to support the planning, tracking, and coordination of technology initiatives that power Experian's cloud and data platforms. You will report to TPM Director.

In this role you will:

  • Support program execution by coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning and reporting activities, including sprint planning, milestone tracking, and risk/dependency management.
  • Facilitate meetings such as standups, retrospectives, and program syncs, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand architecture, data flows, and infrastructure requirements at a high level.
  • Maintain program documentation and dashboards in Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet for visibility and transparency.
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance delivery velocity and reduce operational friction.
  • Partner with senior TPMs to learn best practices in Agile and scaled delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in technical program management, project management or engineering operations—preferably in cloud or data-driven environments.
  • Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and technical delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and basic knowledge of services such as S3, EC2, or Lambda.
  • Experience using collaboration and tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Asana.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • You will reside within a commutable distance to Costa Mesa, CA

Bonus:

  • Exposure to data systems, APIs, or cloud-native application development.
  • Interest in new technologies such as AI, data analytics, or DevOps.
  • Certifications such as CSM, CAPM, or AWS Cloud Practitioner

Benefits/Perks:

  • Great compensation package and bonus plan
  • Core benefits including medical, dental, vision, and matching 401K
  • Flexible work environment, ability to work remote, hybrid or in-office
