Role Title: Analytics Manager

Summary of the role:
As an international analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our sports league’s global presence. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market dynamics, and interact with marketing and business stakeholders to drive growth and engagement across international markets. As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Hands-on Analytics:
- Ability to query in SQL
- See a problem or question and develop a plan for analysis that adequately answers the question
- Summarize data insights in a business-friendly way that is easy for stakeholders and executives to understand
- Summarize large data outputs into key takeaways
- Assist in UAT of database changes & updates.
- Enable data teams in RCA of issues & bugs.
- Activation and Enablement:
- Evaluate 1:1 marketing campaign data needs and own data enablement for seamless campaign execution with defined test/control and success criteria.
- Evaluate 1:1 audience needs and opportunities for segmentation to drive and deepen fan engagement
- Performance Tracking and Optimization:
- Monitor[AA1] the effectiveness of GTM strategies using relevant KPIs and attribution frameworks.
- Periodically assess performance against fanbase growth goals.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on international market performance.
- Regularly attend and provide input during strategy discussions with stakeholders
- Ability to work closely with those at the VP level
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, the international team, legal team, and other stakeholders to align strategies and execution.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Collaborate with data engineering on business requirements
- Interact with third parties on data needs and definitions
- GTM Strategy Support:
- Collaborate with regional teams to create a data analytics and segmentation plan that supports their GTM strategies for specific markets.
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for each plan.
- Develop audience segments, marketing initiatives tailored to local nuances.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years in SQL, Python or other relevant coding experience.
- 5+ years in stakeholder management experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
