Timely and SalonBiz serve over 24,000 customers in 100 countries and are on a mission to build the leading platform for beauty professionals. Together we make up EverWell, an EverCommerce vertical. We offer SaaS solutions to a variety of customer sizes and types within the beauty industry, and we’ve got big goals and are ready to achieve them.
You’ll be a core member of our TechOps team, delivering software updates and technical changes to our product(s) that allow our customers to thrive and us to grow as we help them focus on their passion over admin. You are interested in working out how to best solve customer-facing technical challenges and help unlock our product engineering teams' focus and capacity by owning tactical delivery and regular, fast improvements. You’ll identify where maintenance and technical debt are a problem (or going to be!) and contribute to ensuring these are addressed in the backlog or when we do related work.
Primarily you’ll work as part of an agile team to deliver changes in collaboration with our Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer based on product, engineering or design needs. You will work as part of our incident response and on call teams.
3-5 years in a software engineering or equivalent role with experience in buildingSaaS software
You’llprefer working in small iterations, learning from experiments and see the value in DevOps principles
You’ll be familiar with delivery techniques that reduce risk such as feature flagging and partial deploys
Strong competency and experience with Mobile, .NET, JavaScriptand/or API Design.
Some experience working with IaaS platforms e.g. Azure/AWS
Team player, must be able to work with others around them
Demonstratable strong collaboration skills with other engineers across multiple disciplines
Demonstratable strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to translate technical concepts to less technical audiences where required
Advocate forcollaborative programming techniques
Empathetic skills and ability to provide constructive and understandable feedback to others
A natural curiosity and ability to problem solve
