We’re looking for a Sr SDET/QA Automation Engineer who thrives in fast-moving, startup-style environments, someone who’s energized by building quickly, adapting constantly, and taking ownership from concept to production.
Requirements
Core Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (for automation frameworks).
API Testing & Integration: Expert in testing RESTful APIs and backend services. Experience validating data synchronization across multiple systems (not just UI testing). Tools: Postman, Pytest, or similar.
Databases: Solid experience with SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL preferred) to verify data integrity and perform backend validation.
UI Automation: Hands-on experience building robust automation frameworks using Selenium.
CI/CD: Experience integrating automated tests into pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
Version Control: Expertise with Git workflows.
Agile: Strong understanding of Scrum/Kanban and the ability to work closely with Product and Ops.
Cloud: Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, etc.) from a testing perspective is a huge plus.
Backend Automation: Design and implement automated tests for APIs and microservices, ensuring data consistency across integrations, and validate data integrity by writing and interpreting complex SQL queries
Framework Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks from scratch for web applications using Python and Selenium.
Framework Ownership: Maintain and scale the existing automation framework (Python/Selenium based) while exploring opportunities to modernize tools.
Pipeline Integration: Ensure tests run reliably in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback cycles.
Technical Leadership: Proactively identify gaps in test coverage, propose new tools and processes to improve quality and efficiency.
English level: C1+ (Will be assessed)
