Field Service Engineer plays a key role in supporting customers' installed instrumentation base across the UK. The role involves expert service, maintenance, and commissioning of Emerson instrumentation, and requires strong technical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, fault analysis, and repairs on Emerson instrumentation
- Investigate and resolve persistent or sophisticated issues at customer sites
- Commission clamp-on liquid and gas flowmeters at client sites
- Provide diagnostic, calibration, and startup services
- Deliver on-site customer training as required
- Assist Sales Engineers with product demonstrations and provide application and post-sales support
- Proactively identify service and product opportunities, contributing to lead generation
- Finish the service documentation, which includes reports and certificates
- Support the creation of service-related sales materials
- Provide telephone-based client support as needed
- Travel flexibly throughout the UK, offshore, and internationally
