The Client is a steadily growing, modern accounting firm supporting small to mid-sized businesses across the U.S. Their clients include landscapers, roofers, web designers, doctors, and other busy small business owners they value deeply. They offer a monthly subscription model covering bookkeeping, business tax, and personal tax services, allowing them to support clients year-round. They are looking for a highly-skilled and reliable Tax Associate to work alongside their tax managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track tax preparation statuses - reviewing client questionnaires, gathering tax documents, reminding clients which tax documents are missing
- Prepare tax returns in UltraTax
- Tax planning support - review what quarterly tax estimates have been sent to the client and paid
- Communicate with clients via email and text
- Review monthly financials
- Supporting US tax managers
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in US Taxes
- 2+ years experience using UltraTax
- Experience in Quickbooks Online
- Tech savvy - able to navigate Zoom, Slack, etc and learn new software quickly
- Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients with an awareness of what needs to be prioritized
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members across digital channels and an innate desire to build relationships
- Humility and openness to coaching and critiques; always seeking to improve
- Persistence and an ability to stay on track
- Bookkeeping skills, general knowledge of payroll and accounting principles
- Accounting degree

- Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
- Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
