Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Our client is seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our remote team in the Philippines. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial data management for franchise operations. Your expertise will contribute to maximizing efficiency, providing clear financial insights, and optimizing overall performance across our franchise network.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
• Tax Compliance: Manage and oversee tax filings, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and facilitate audits conducted by external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial workflows, reporting systems, and data management to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is required.
• Proven experience as a CPA or in a similar role, preferably in the franchise or retail industry with a US client is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and managing priorities effectively.

Benefits

• Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
• Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
• Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $1000 - $1500
Schedule: 8am - 5pm Eastern Time
