DuckDuckGo is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the team building and evolving the core web platform powering their private browsers on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. The role requires 10+ years of experience leading teams of technically strong developers on large, complex consumer-facing products, and direct experience with browsers such as Chromium, WebKit, or WebView development.

Requirements

Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects
10+ years experience leading teams of technically strong developers
Direct experience with browsers such as Chromium, WebKit, or WebView development
Recent experience defining and driving technical work end-to-end on large-scale C++ codebases
Experience with other modern languages such as C#, Swift, Kotlin, Rust
Experience developing software for Mobile platforms or Desktop
