Lead Personalization & Data Architect

Project-Based | Remote | Limited Engagement

We are looking for an experienced Lead Architect to design and shape the “Intelligence Layer” of our React Native mobile application.

This is a high-impact, short-term consulting engagement (a few hours total) focused on providing strategic architectural direction, not long-term implementation.

About the Role

You will act as the critical bridge between raw data systems and our React Native engineering team.

Your mission is to design a system that enables our developers to deliver personalized user experiences effortlessly — without requiring deep expertise in data science or CDP orchestration.

You’ll define:

• Data flow and architecture

• System “contracts”

• SDK and integration strategy

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Architecture

• Design the Data “Plumbing”
  Build a scalable architecture connecting:

  • Historical data (Data Warehouse)

  • Real-time behavioral data (Streaming)

    → into a unified decisioning engine

• Enable Developers
  Create clean technical abstractions such as:

  • React Context providers

  • Custom Hooks

  • API wrappers

    So the mobile team can easily consume personalization logic

• Own Identity Resolution
  Define a cross-platform identity strategy ensuring seamless “guest recognition” across web and mobile

• Define the Tech Stack
  Recommend and justify the optimal combination of:

  • CDP (Customer Data Platform)

  • Decisioning engine

  • Analytics tools

    balancing power with ease of use

• Establish Schema Governance
  Create a global event taxonomy to ensure data consistency across the ecosystem

Must-Have Expertise

• Personalization Specialist
  Proven experience designing closed-loop personalization systems
  (Collect → Segment → Decide → Deliver)

• The Orchestrator
  Deep expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and data routing strategies

• Decisioning Systems

  Experience with:

  • Feature flagging

  • Remote config tools

  • Dynamic UI rendering

• Data Warehouse Fluency
  Strong SQL skills and experience activating user segments from a warehouse

• Mobile-First Mindset

  Solid understanding of:

  • React Native architecture

  • Performance constraints

  • Offline-first scenarios

  • Asynchronous data flows
