As part of the Telekom Security team, it is your task to convince internal and external customers to use the security awareness products and to motivate them to actively participate in awareness events in innovative and unusual ways.

Job Description

• Operation of the monitoring solution (laboratory and production environment)
• Maintenance & software rollout of the used Open-source solutions
• Configuration and management of the Icinga2 monitoring solution on command line and web UI's
• Development and maintenance of rpm & deb packages, including the corresponding repositories
• Test and deploy new software releases at the lab and production environment
• Deploy & manage Icinga2 satellite installations
• Manage and create Icinga2 agent deployment scripts (Shell, Ansible playbooks, Powershell) for different Linux distributions & Windows server releases
• Manage Firewall rulesets
• Account management based on myCard authentication & Icinga2/Grafana
• Handle of support requests from other DT-SEC Solutions which uses DT-SEC Monitoring
• Incident, Change and Problem management via ITIL processes
• Documentation in a wiki
• Collaboration with German colleagues

Additional Information

• Practical experiences on Linux and Windows systems
• Practical experiences on application like Apache httpd, Icinga2 or Nagios
• Practical experiences on databases like MySQL or MariaDB
• Shell programming
• Familiar with ITIL processes (Incident and Change management processes)
• At least intermediate English language skill, German is optional
• Good communication ability
• Willing and able to work on own initiative
