Job Description

Tasks:

• Backup and restore operation and administration
• Teradata Database operation and administration
• Teradata Viewpoint administration
• Priority management (Teradata Active System Management)
• Communication with customer and Teradata Support
• Monitoring and report performance metrics
• Develop and support shell script for database activities (maintenance and operation)
• Provide 24/7 support including on-call

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Intermediate English language skill
• Experience in managing and maintaining data warehouse technologies
• At least 1 year experience in general database administration
• At least 1 year experience with SQL or Teradata SQL
• UNIX/Linux experience and shell scripting
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Willing to learn new technologies
• Fast adaptation to the continuously changing environments
• Excellent team-player, but able to work on your own
• Willing to work in on-call duty after the trial period ends
• Be pro-active, be a customer-driven person
• Be a passionate person for your work
• Good communication skills
• English language knowledge
