Job Description:

Merkury, dentsu's global identity and data platform and a pioneer in person-based identity, is looking for a VP Program Management, US to lead program management and lead operational excellence across our Solutioning, Delivery and Product Ownership teams. You will work in collaboration with leaders in Solutions (design identity, data, activation and clean room solutions for enterprise client sales opportunities), Success (support 100s of clients using our identity products) and Product Ownership and Delivery (online and offline identity resolution, composable native apps, and data products including core, premium and marketplace offerings) for B2C and B2B clients across all industry verticals.

You will establish scalable Agile frameworks, operational routines, and transparent communication that inspires agreement between our Product Ownership and Product Delivery (i.e. developers) organizations. You will also partner with capability experts across dentsu and Merkle (tech consulting and strategy, data, customer experience, media, RMNs) to ensure tight alignment with market, client, and practice needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Management leader to be at the forefront of innovation in the growing identity and data industry.

This is a remote position reporting to Head of Identity and Data Products.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish standardized Agile frameworks, KPIs and backlog prioritization systems across each Product team (Offline & Online Identity, Native Apps, Data, and B2B Connect)

  • Ensure operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and tight learning loops from our client-facing teams (Solutioning, Success, and Delivery) that feed back into our Product backlogs

  • Build resource allocation models predicting capacity constraints and revenue risks, early warning systems for scope creep and budget deviations, and transparent tracking and forecasting

  • Design communication rhythms and establish RACI matrices for role and responsibility clarity

  • Guide complex portfolio prioritization, planning, and execution, managing risks and communicating status to stakeholders

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts with team to increased value to our organization

Skills:

  • Deep expertise and understanding of agile methodologies and scaling frameworks, specifically in a data product organization

  • Financial modeling and forecasting capabilities across a complex book of business

  • Implement simple, scalable solutions that create operational efficiency across diverse teams

  • Fluency with MarTech and AdTech products and capabilities – identity resolution, 3PD, activation platforms and clean rooms

  • Experience with driving measurable business outcomes for both client-facing and internal teams

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics or technology. Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus

Experience:

  • 8+ years agile program management experience

  • Proficiency with leading mar-tech/adtech platforms such as DMPs, CDPs, marketing clouds and/or data cloud environments (ex: AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake)

  • Experience with identity resolution, data/cloud technologies, and data governance/compliance

  • 6+ years Agile, Project Management, Portfolio and Program Management, or related

The annual salary range for this position is $163,000 - $263,350. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
