The Role
As the Lead Network Engineer – Global & Cloud Networking, you will be the senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing Deckers Brands’ global network infrastructure. You’ll drive innovation across on-premises, campus, retail, data center, and cloud environments, providing technical leadership for enterprise networking services including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, security services, and cloud networking. Your expertise will enable Deckers to leverage AI-driven administration and automation, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable connectivity for our global operations.

Your Impact
- Provide advanced administrative and technical support for Local Area Networks and Wi-Fi, including IP addressing, VLANs, routing, switching, and Cisco Meraki switches and access points across global locations.
- Deliver advanced support for Wide Area and SD-WAN networks, including Meraki firewalls, VPN tunnels, MPLS, broadband, routers, and dynamic routing protocols.
- Establish guidelines and methods for installation, maintenance, and management of global on-premises and cloud networks, supporting corporate offices and retail locations worldwide.
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven network management tools for predictive analytics, automated root-cause analysis, and self-healing network capabilities.
- Partner with security engineering to implement a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) framework, embedding robust security services within SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and remote access solutions.
- Oversee 24x7 network monitoring and response, ensuring service interruptions are addressed promptly and maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs for critical network infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex network and cloud connectivity issues.
Who You Are
- Hold a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Possess certifications such as Cisco CCNA, AWS Advanced Networking, and Meraki Solutions Specialist.
- Bring at least 6 years of experience in network administration for a global organization, with proven experience supporting large enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in Cisco networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Meraki switching, routing, and wireless.
- Skilled in leveraging AI and automation techniques to maximize network efficiency.
- Calm and effective in high-pressure situations, such as network outages or service interruptions.
- Experienced in mentoring and training junior network administrators and technical support staff.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation, and work collaboratively with vendors, MSPs, and consultants.
