Role Overview
Principal-level engineer owning production-scale AI/ML platform systems in enterprise environments. This role requires deep ownership of LLM production systems, cloud infrastructure expertise, MLOps tooling, and architectural leadership across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Extensive production AI/ML engineering experience
- Real production LLM system ownership (not research or prototype)
- Specific experience with: RAG implementations, fine-tuning workflows, evaluation frameworks, guardrails and safety systems, model monitoring and drift detection
- Cloud and infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure, Kubernetes, distributed systems
- AI/MLOps tooling: CI/CD for ML, experiment tracking, monitoring and observability
- Team leadership: architectural ownership, multi-team influence, platform standards definition
