VP, Industry Solutions

Dataiku’s mission is big: allow all organizations to significantly accelerate their data and AI ambition and empower data and domain experts alike to revamp their key processes with AI. To further accelerate AI success, Dataiku provides a range of packaged agentic use-cases and domain specific capabilities anchored in a deep understanding of real business processes.

For most organizations, effective AI process augmentation is only getting started: the full potential of combining agents, machine learning, analytics and human intelligence to fully rethink activities is yet to be unlocked.

As we enter into the pivotal moment of AI for organizations, Dataiku is looking for a VP to lead its Industry Solutions activities. In this role, you will be in charge of (1) defining and managing all activities focused on accelerating Dataiku’s penetration of key industries and domains and (2) driving a new offering combining services and product to deliver full process augmentation with AI. You will efficiently manage a team of seasoned Industry Experts and AI Solutions Consultants, will structure services and customer engagement methodologies, run engagements with Dataiku’s Services team, and will define and support the delivery of a strong dedicated Product roadmap. You will own an overall growth objective for Dataiku and will be in charge of organizing the successful cross-functional collaboration to deliver on this ambition.

What you will do on a day-to-day basis:

Industry Strategy Definition: Own the definition of Dataiku’s Industry vision with the double objective of:

• Accelerating Dataiku’s industry penetration: more new logos, more stakeholders in the AI cycle.
• Moving to end-to-end process augmentation.

You will build a framework and run the supporting analysis to define priorities and build company alignment on shared objectives.

Business Outcome Services Delivery:

• Define and manage a new offering combining Services and Product to deliver tangible business outcomes to organizations. Focused on a sub-set of key domains including Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Financial Risks, you will define the offer, pipe generation methodology, customer engagement approach and manage the actual offering with all supporting Dataiku Functions.
• You will establish Dataiku as a true Transformation Partner for the organizations aiming to revamp their activities with AI. You will future proof each new solution with a focus on having a productized, scalable offer.

Product Management:

• Work tightly with the VP for Solutions and Applications Engineering on the definition and delivery of the supporting Product roadmap. You will be in charge of developing a strong Product Management mindset in the Industry Solutions team.
• You will ensure that all industry-specific capabilities (quick starts, agentic solutions, applications, features) are delivered with the right velocity based on precise scoping and support from the Industry Solutions team, and that all capabilities benefit from the needed field proofing and roll out strategies to maximise their impact.

Executive Engagement:

• Act as a key senior stakeholder in events and customer engagements: you will be the face of our industry vision and business outcome offering.
• You will establish strategic partnerships with customers, from initial opportunity identification to actual delivery.
• You will create fruitful co-building initiatives that can be transformed into repeatable success.

Team Management:

• Manage a team of 10+ seasoned Industry Experts and Solutions Consultants.
• Identify new skillset requirements based on strategic plan, organize team structure and staffing plans, and own implementation with a focus on employee impact and growth.

Who you are :

• 20+ years of experience in business process transformation and technology implementation: you have a deep understanding of data and AI technologies, business processes, and what operational transformation means. You are able to bring structure and methodology to complex initiatives and embark people in collective success.
• Consulting and Services delivery: you have managed a consulting activity and know how to manage the balance between Services and Product. You have worked in a consulting form or in a technology company integrating a strong use-case delivery component, and are able to structure the supporting methodology.
• Product Management experience: you understand what software building is about and have driven complex roadmap exercises and have delivered ambitious software and/or data transformation activities. You know how to split phases and roles in roadmap execution, and are able to tailor processes to specific projects.
• C-suite experience: you have worked with company leaders and know how to bring them to decision making on ambitious programs.
• A doer by mindset: you do as much as you drive, with the capacity to go deep in details while owning the definition of a strategic vision.
• Empathetic, able to manage a team of diverse, seasoned professionals with a focus on empowering them for success.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills: you are a recognized speaker, have the proven capacity to shape impactful messaging and deliver it efficiently.
• Expertise in Banking, Manufacturing or Life Sciences will be a plus.
• Based in the UK or US East Coast, able to travel 15% of your time.
