We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the education technology sector, a proven track record of driving growth through strategic partnerships with schools and educational institutions, and excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the company’s presence in the country.
- Identify strategic partnerships with schools, ministries, and educational institutions in the country to establish mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within schools, educational organizations, and government entities.
- Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and partnership agreements to ensure favorable terms for all parties.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials for potential partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, progress, and results to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on generating a minimum annual revenue of $400,000.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years proven track record in business development, preferably within education.
- In-depth understanding of the country's education landscape and its key stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet sales targets consistently.
- Proficient networker with strong relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated individual capable of independent work.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in EdTech.
- Established networks within the country schools, institutions, and government bodies.
- Proven track record of business development targets.
