About the role:

Help Build the Future of Cresta’s Technical Teams — From Romania Across Europe

Are you passionate about building high-performing technical teams and developing strong recruiting practices? Cresta is hiring a Technical Recruiter to help us scale our Engineering team across Romania and Germany — and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to play a foundational role in this growth.

As a founding member of our Romania People team, you’ll partner closely with our Romania Site Lead, European Hiring teams, Technical Leadership, North American Recruiting team, and cross-functional hiring partners to attract and hire exceptional technical talent. You’ll report directly ot the Head of People and you’ll be instrumental in shaping our sourcing strategies, driving the recruiting lifecycle, and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Cresta is excited about expanding our operations to Romania, and we are building a tech hub in the region. These early joiners will play a key role in establishing our technical team in Romania, helping to shape the future of the site. We are a remote-first environment, offering opportunities to work with a global team across Europe, the US, Canada, and India. Over time, we aim to create a co-working space in Romania, moving towards a hybrid environment. You’ll work closely with hiring teams to help strengthen Cresta’s presence across Europe and support our broader global hiring goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical roles in Romania and across our European footprint — from sourcing and outreach to offer and close
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define talent profiles, and align on hiring strategies
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor, offering market insights and data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes
  • Design and execute effective sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates and build top-of-funnel pipelines
  • Be an expert in sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Github, etc.) and enthusiastically support sourcing across all roles in close partnership with the extended recruiting team
  • Handle recruiting-related documentation, including offer letters, NDAs, and other paperwork.
  • Build and nurture partnerships and recruitment events across academia and industry to expand outreach, elevate company presence, and drive long-term talent pipeline impact.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help standardize best practices across the European and North American recruiting teams
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience through thoughtful, timely communication and a high-touch process

Qualifications we value:

  • 5+ years of experience managing full-lifecycle recruiting for technical roles across Europe, ideally within high-growth environments
  • Skilled at building and nurturing pipelines of top engineering talent, with a strong understanding of the European tech landscape
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys partnering closely with a distributed recruiting and People team
  • Creative and persistent when it comes to sourcing — always looking for new channels and tools to engage top talent
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Clear communicator who’s comfortable working across time zones and cultures
  • Experienced with recruiting systems and tools — Greenhouse is a plus
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
