About role

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to help build an AI-powered mobile health application. You will contribute to the development of a fast-evolving product that combines AI (OpenAI + RAG) with expert knowledge from the health domain. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment focused on rapid iteration, UX/UI testing, and building scalable, high-quality code, then this role is for you.

About the project

The project focuses on developing a mobile application built with React Native (Expo) and a lightweight Next.js web panel. The goal is to create a scalable, user-centric product powered by AI and modern frontend technologies.

Key modules include:

• Personalized onboarding

• Symptom and mood tracking

• AI-driven recommendations (RAG + evidence-based tips)

• Chat with a virtual assistant

• Insights and user data trends

A few words about the team

You will work in a compact, cross-functional team consisting of a CTO/Team Manager, 3 frontend/mobile developers, 1 QA, 1 AI/backend integrator, 2 UX/UI designers, and a Product Owner. The setup ensures close collaboration, fast feedback loops, and shared ownership of product decisions.

Your tasks

• Development of the mobile frontend (Expo EAS OTA)

• Implementation of key screens (chat, onboarding, insights)

• Translating the design system from Figma into Tailwind/Nativewind

• Integration with Supabase (auth, cache, API)

• E2E testing (Playwright/Detox)

• Collaboration with OpenAI API

• Ensuring code quality and consistency

• Introducing best practices and mentoring junior developers

Requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with JS/TS, including at least 3 years with React Native (Expo)

• Experience integrating with backends (REST / Supabase / GraphQL)

• Proven track record of end-to-end mobile project delivery

• Experience with AI integrations (OpenAI API – nice to have)

• Experience working in a startup environment (fast iterations, MVPs, UX testing)

• Self-driven and proactive approach – comfortable in a startup setup

• Technical maturity and strong sense of ownership

• Openness to rapid iterations and frequent feedback

• Good communication skills within a team (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews)

• Strong focus on code review, high code quality, CI/CD practices, and feedback loops

• English level min. B2 (daily communication with an international team)
