We are searching for a mid to senior-level backend engineer to join our foundational technology and product team. This is a mission-critical role that will have significant ownership of our codebase and digital experience.
Responsibilities
Closely work with the senior engineers to build impactful back end systems from the ground up
Compile and analyze data, processes, and codebase to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
Attend weekly syncs with the founding team of Courtly to assess prioritizations of projects and tasks
Write proper documentation for future engineers to quickly learn the codebase
Taking lead on projects, as needed.
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer building consumer-facing applications
GraphQL, Git, MySQL, and Node Experience required
Computer Science degree preferred
Experience working in an agile software development environment
Experience with being a part of a distributed engineering team
